Vintage Mego-Daishin Apollo Lunar Module Battery Operated Space Ship with Box

 Here we have a very nice hard-to-find vintage Apollo Lunar Module, #8012, made by Mego-Daishin, circa 1970s. A terrific addition to your collection.

This battery operated space ship features a nicely detailed plastic design with an astronaut, bright and clean, brilliant metallics, lunar sound, revolving antenna, lights up, flashing lights, automatic hatch open and close, astronaut comes out and back in and bump-and-go action. It is in Good working condition as only the lights would come on during our test, although this toy has been stored for many years in original packaging. The ship is in Very Good condition with minimal scratches and wear, scotch tape reside on body, no rust or corrosion, 4 large decals are not attached to ship but are included, and it measures approx. 8-1/2" tall. Requires 2 "D" batteries, not included. Original box and packaging is included, as is the antenna, and is in Good+ condition with some edge and corner wear, small creases, small holes at crease on cellophane window, cellophane detached from cardboard and lightly taped in place on inside. A wonderful example of a very collectible battery operated space toy, offered to you with no reserve.
