Vintage 1960s LaClanche Tin Litho & Plastic Simco 1500GL Berlin 4-Door Sedan Battery Operated Remote Controlled Car

Here we have a very nice original vintage Tin Litho & Plastic Simco 1500GL 4-Door Sedan Battery Operated Remote Controlled Car, made in France, circa 1963-66. A terrific addition to your vintage toy of car collection. 

This R/C vehicle features tin base and interior and plastic exterior. The two front side windows slide up and down. The wired remote has forward and backward buttons and a small steering wheel. The message inside the battery compartment is in French, but translated to English reads: "For proper operation and service long term, use LaClanche Type R6." We tested this toy with 2 "AA" batteries, but were unsuccessful. The car measures approx. 9" long. It is in Good cosmetic condition, bright colors and metallics with some surface scratches and wear, mild surface oxidation underneath and no corrosion. A wonderful example of a very rare and hard-to-find vintage B/O toy, offered to you with no reserve.
